FAQ

How do I book a company event?

For VIP Lounge bookings or if you only require 2 bays side by side for your event, you can simply book online to secure your simulator bays. For groups larger than 8 that will require 3 or more simulator bays, please fill out our contact form so we can help you plan a great event that will be fun for everyone.

What type of game modes are available? Is it okay for a mixed group of beginner and experienced golfers to play together?

Our simulators allow for up to 8 individual golfers playing stroke play, or teams of 2, 3, or 4 people playing in Scramble "best ball" format. Golfers can be set up on whichever tees they prefer and in multiple skill levels - from beginner to tour levels. In casual mode the system will provide a distance boost for poor shots.

Additionally, it will play all lies in the rough and sand as perfect fairway lies. You can also put a "DRIVER" only boost on to give extra distance off the tee without affecting other shots.

In addition to playing any one of our 750+ golf courses, the driving range option is a lot of fun for closest to the pin and longest drive challenges. Head to the Riverwalk Skills Challenge or Central Park Driving Range for golf darts, blackjack, tic-tac-toe, beer pong, break the glass, skeet ball, and target games.

Should we order food in advance for our bookings?

For groups larger than 12 people we have various food packages that are available that need to be ordered 5 days in advance. You can also order any items off the menu once you arrive at our facility.

Can I bring in a birthday cake or outside food?

If you would like to bring your own cake you can, however due to health regulations it must be store-bought, not homemade. No outside food or drink are permitted.

How many people can fit in a Private and Public Bay?

Our Private Lounge can fit up to 10 people comfortably. Our public lounges can fit up to 6 people comfortably. However we recommend renting 2 bays if everyone in the group wants to play golf.

Do people bring their own clubs? Do you have clubs available for rent?

Customers are encouraged to bring their own golf clubs, however we do have rental clubs available. P.S. people can share clubs, t's not necessary that everyone has their own set of golf clubs.

Is the simulator rental rate per person or per hour?

Our simulator bay rates are per hour - not per person. The bay is yours for the time you booked, and you can have up to 6 people in a Public Lounge, or up to 10 people in a Private Lounge.

When should we arrive for our booking?

We suggest people arrive 15 minutes before their booked time.

What if we have some non-golfers or beginners in our group?

You're in luck! You don't have to chase your ball into another hole... Our staff will help set up your round so all skill levels will enjoy their round.

Pro Tip: Ask our staff for their recommended courses and games to play.

What group size can The Golf House accommodate?

Special group rates start at a minimum of 10 people. For large groups, the Orangeville location can accommodate up to 26 people.

What are group rates?

Can special dietary needs be accommodated?

We offer gluten-free and vegan options. Please let our staff members know at the start of your booking so we accommodate everyone in your group.
